Up for auction is an ORIGINAL copy of THE BACHS / OUT OF THE BACHS on the original ROTO PR-68-1044 label. Record looks unplayed MINT, both sides. No spindle marks on label. Printing on label is silver on bright red. Hard to photograph - tried to show with 2 pictures. Overall condition on the cover is VERY GOOD. Cover is tight and fairly clean both sides. Just a small crimp upper left hand corner. A little bit of ring wear both top and bottom on the front, and a little bit more dirty ring wear top and bottom on the back. Haven't tried to erase or clean. Notes on the back look like they were knocked-out with an old wonky typewriter!

"Out Of The Bachs" was released in 1968 as a private pressing of 150 copies and it is one of the rarest USA '60s garage / teenbeat albums ever.

The band consisted of five young kids from Chicago, regulars at local teen dances, who decided to release an album as a testimony to their fans before splitting up. Recorded and mixed in just 10 hours at a makeshift studio, "Out Of The Bachs" offers 12 amazing self-penned songs with a sound ahead of its time. Pure teenage-angst vocals, crashing Rickenbacker guitars, fuzz outbursts, killer moody tracks, and the list goes on and on...
