Description

Here is a copy of a very hard to find single by The Beach Boys: "Little Girl (You're My Miss America)" b/w "Summertime Blues" (Capitol 4-C-3039). Released in the Philippines in 1962. Songs taken from the "Surfing' Safari" LP.

I'm not sure there was ever a stock copy of this single issued. I've seen only white label promo copies.

Great songs, and two of them were not issued in the United States on small format. This is probably one of the few Beach Boys singles that does not feature an original Beach Boys song. Both sides are covers. The B side was originally recorded by Dante and His Friends (as "Miss America"). The B side is the Eddie Cochran classic, written by Cochran and Jerry Capehart.

Record is in VG+ condition. Nice gloss, but some minor wear. Labels have white out covering some writing in marker. But otherwise, the labels are clean. No stickers or tears.

Thanks for looking, and please check out my other items for more rare and beautiful 45s. I specialize in rare surf, Beach Boys, and Brian Wilson related records.
