THE BEACH BOYS Pet Sounds LP (1966) Original US Capitol MONO ABBEY (G)

I'm putting this item to auction because it's less quality than I had hoped. I can verify this is an original 1966 US Abbey pressing. Though it's hard to see, the runout has the "AB" etching with a date as well as two other dates etched as well. The Audio matrix stamp is very hard to make out. The jacket is in overall good condition with no splits or tears but heavier ring and shelf wear. A name is written on the front cover in pen. The original paper sleeve is very good with one small split through the bottom. The vinyl is not great. It has been vacuum cleaned and it still doesn't play great. I've listened straight though and there had been no skips, jumps or repeats, but there is some heavier groove wear which can play very scratchy and slightly distorted at times. Particularly during the second verse of God Only Knows. Otherwise, most of the playback was very good with some moments of sizzle.

Please see pics. I have done my best to include any examples of blemishes and markings on the vinyl.
