Description

This is a promo copy of an obscure 45rpm EP by The Beach Boys" "Excerpts from Capitol's "Beach Boys Party" Album (Capitol PRO 2993/2994). Released in 1966.

Side 1:

"Barbara Ann" (2:53) / "Hully Gully" (2:22)

Side 2:

"Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow" (2:12) / "Alley Oop" (2:53)

This is a genuine Beach Boys collectible item and very hard to find. Features the LP version of of "Barbara Ann" which is considerably longer than the single, as it includes the song breakdowns toward the end (whereas the single fades out before the breakdowns). The other three songs are unavailable in small format in the U.S.

This record is in G++ condition. Labels have writing (more so on the A side) and lots of wear. Vinyl has lost much of its gloss, and there are several scuffs. But it plays though fine with surface noise. Not a bad copy overall.
