Description

Here's a great copy of The Beach Boys, doing "I Can Hear Music" b/w "Let the Wind Blow" on Brother Reprise (1310). Stock copies with "Let the Wind Blow" are rare (double-sided promos are far more plentiful). The A-side is Carl Wilson at his best, taking over the production controls from an absent Brian Wilson (who was not involved in the making of this record). "I Can Hear Music" (a fabulous, even superior, version of the Phil Spector, Jeff Barry & Ellie Greenwich tune, originally recorded by the Ronettes on Philles 133) was issued as a single three times. It was originally released in 1969 on Capitol, and again in 1973 on Brother/Reprise with "Bluebirds Over the Mountain" on the flip. This third issue was meant to promote the "Wild Honey" & “20/20” two-fer LP, and features a song unavailable in small format in the U.S. One of the stand-out Beach Boys tracks from 1967. A terrific addition to your vinyl collection.
Record is in NM condition and comes with its original factory sleeve.
