Sunshine Dream is the third double-album compilation of the Beach Boys' music to be compiled by their former label, Capitol Records (following the earlier Endless Summer and Spirit of America). Released in 1982, the album features singles and album tracks ranging from 1964 to 1969, and it is the first time "The Beach Boys Medley" appears on an album; it reached number 12 in 1981 as a single. The album was compiled and released while the Beach Boys were contracted with CBS Records. Due to the appearance of more recent compilations, Sunshine Dream has long since been out of print.

The album is on Capitol Records, SVBB-12220. Matrix side one: SVVB-1-12220 G-9#1 (202)C   ES-A (written) MASTERED BY CAPITOL (stamped). Matrix side two: SVVB-2-12220 G-7 *1 (202)C   ES-A (written) MASTERED BY CAPITOL (stamped). Matrix side three: SVVB-3-12220 G-7#1 (202)C   ES-A (written) MASTERED BY CAPITOL (stamped). Matrix side four: SVVB-4-12220 G-1 (202)   ES-A (written) MASTERED BY CAPITOL (stamped).
Released in 1982. USA pressing. Mono / Stereo.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has the odd very light superficial mark that does not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has the odd very light superficial mark that does not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 3: excellent (has the odd very light superficial mark that does not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 4: excellent (has the odd very light superficial mark that does not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (glossy, gatefold): excellent (sticker residue front top rightthe odd light mark here and there).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy on return of the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
