Description

This is a beautiful copy of a single by The Beach Boys: "The Lonely Sea" b/w "Dance, Dance, Dance" (Capitol QCL-175). Released in Italy in 1964. Songs taken from the "Surfer Girl" and "The Beach Boys Today!" LPs. The A side was never released in the U.S. as a single. "Dance, Dance, Dance" was issued in the U.S. as a single in 1964, but with "The Warmth of the Sun" on the flip.

This is one of three variations of the Italian picture sleeve. Another variation has a different photo within a large red red and green circle. Another variation is similar to the one hear, but different color scheme (the title "Dance, Dance, Dance" is in a yellow box, not a green one, and "The Lonely Sea" appears above a darker green box). I believe the variation up for auction here is the slightly harder to find one.

This record is in EX- condition. Beautiful labels, and the vinyl has super high gloss with light paper scuffs. Sleeve is in VG to VG condition. Some ring wear and wrinkling, but no writing, stickers or splits. Minor tear on the right side. Some very light staining.
