Description

THE BEATLES. 1. Richard Avedon - EMI - Apple Corps Ltd. An original un-guillotined and un-folded complete double album cover for The Beatles U.K. vinyl album "1", the album of 27 Number 1 hit singles, released in 2000. Richard Avedon's beautiful 1968 psychedelic photos make this piece a very special item. An absolutely awesome piece of original Beatles memorabilia due to it's complete uniqueness. You may not ever have the opportunity to own it's like again. The card sheet measures 655 mm x 655 mm exactly, or approximately 26 inches x 26 inches. There are guillotine and fold marks in the white border areas, and the words "glue flap" appear twice down the widest border. On the reverse side it is plain white card. The sheet is in excellent condition apart from a slight crinkle along the edge nearest the images. This piece would look stunning matted, mounted and framed. It will be rolled in bubble wrap and inserted into a large 6 inch diameter heavy tube with end caps for secure delivery in the post.

As a professional photographer by trade, I obtained this piece of Beatles memorabilia through professional contacts at an industrial printing plant that was used by EMI to manufacture their product packaging. It is absolutely 100% genuine. Thank you.

This item comes from my own personal collection of Beatles and related memorabilia. It has been carefully looked after and stored in the dark. It comes from a smoke-free environment and has been kept away from contaminants. If you have any questions that relate to it, please ask. I have many more Beatles and related items to auction on eBay and I'll be listing them constantly. Why not "save me" into your "favourites" section. Please check my 100% feedback rating and my other items up for auction. Thank you.
