Description
This is a mixed bag of items from the Beatles fan club. Topping the list is a rare 1963 Christmas flexi, from 1963 in VG condition. There are no scratches, or creases; it plays through clearly, with some background rumble, and crackles, but not enough to seriously intrude. The label has some staining. There is no newsletter sleeve, unfortunately, and the original mailer is now three sheets of card and paper, but is included.
Next up is a Welcome to the Fan Club letter, with facsimilie signatures. Then an information sheet about the individual members, with a black and white photo of the band on the back. Next is a Special Offer to Members.....a Beatles Sweater, in 100% Botany wool, with an embroidered Badge, for just 30/-, that's £1.50. Lastly, a 32 page Fan Club Magazine, from Summer '64. This includes features on their forthcoming film, John's book, and about 15 pages of photos, including about 11 pages of their first visit to the USA. There are also lots of adverts for crap merchandise. Anyone want a Beat Seat? This 'stimulates (sic) an LP record, with a gay musical motif''
All of the above, apart from the flexi, and mailer, is clean, and unstained.
