The Beatles - 'Please Please Me'. PCS 3042

The Beatles 1964 UK 5th STEREO pressing of the 'Please Please Me' album. This early 5th stereo pressing had a very brief pressing run and are incredibly hard to find. I can honestly say I have seen fewer of these than the 1963 1st stereo pressing.

Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Sold in UK....' text, the 'Recoding First Published 1964' text and have 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd....' rim print. Both sides of the vinyl have the very earliest matrix numbers - 1/1. It comes fully complete with the original 'Emitex' inner sleeve and front laminated 'mid-sized' STEREO sleeve.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. YEX 94-1 1 RM

Side 2. YEX 95-1 1 RR

The vinyl is in FAIR/GOOD condition. There are some family heavy marks on this. Only really suitable as a filler for its rarity.

Both labels are in VERY GOOD+ condition. Note the unusual feature of some of the text on side one being printed lighter than other text.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD- condition.

The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition. I shall include an additional inner sleeve for protection.

This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £4.55. EU recorded postage is: £12.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £18.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
