Description

I have been collecting, buying and selling Beatles vinyl and memorabilia for many, many years now. I know the importance of accurate gradings and descriptions which you will find here. I ALWAYS offer a money back guarantee.

The Beatles - ‘Strawberry Fields Forever / Penny Lane’. R 5570.

The Beatles 1967 UK 1st pressing of the ’Strawberry Fields Forever / Penny Lane' 7” single. Released on the 17th February 1967, and offered here complete with the rare limited edition picture sleeve. Only only 250,000 of these singles were issued in picture sleeves with the rest having standard Parlophone sleeves.

Released on the Parlophone label with rarer solid centre both sides feature the ’Sold in UK….’ text and have ‘The Gramophone Co. Ltd’ rim print. Unusually NO tax code is embossed within the label and is only found within the run out. Both sides have the very earliest A1/B2 matrix numbers. A nice example with rare picture sleeve.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7XCE 18415-1 3 ROP KT

Side 2. 7XCE 18416-2 5 RRD KT

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition on the a side and EXCELLENT- condition on the b side.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition. I will also include an additional sleeve to protect the original.

This will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK Recorded postage is: £2.55. EU Recorded Postage is: £9.20. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £11.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
