Description
This is a very rare "Polo Ring" record from 1969. No 'Sold in The UK' text in the centre, 'THE GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD' text around the edge. No KT stamped in the centre, but still stamped in the dead wax. Very rare, as they would only be available as special orders. Not many people would have been looking to buy a single that was in the charts 4 or 5 years ago, but for the few that were, there were still tonnes of copies floating about that many people would be happy to part with, but if this hypothetical person wanted a new factory fresh copy, they'd go to their dealer, and, as it was the Beatles, they'd almost certainly still have perfect new copies in stock from when it was in the charts. Only in the very unlikely event of all of this happening, and that the record dealer didn't have the title in stock, would they special order in the record from EMI from their catalogue. It is amazing that any of these come to light at all! They were pressed in very small numbers, and as such a coveted by collectors!

Near Mint (NM) - record has been played, has some very light surface marks, but plays perfectly
Excellent (EX) - record has been played, has some light surface marks, but plays well with some light surface noise
Very Good (VG) - record has been played a lot, has some light surface marks and scratches, plays with some crackle, but still enjoyable
Good (G) - record has a build up of scratches and scuffs, plays with a lot of crackle and pop, but doesn't jump, stick or skip
