The Beatles - ‘Paperback Writer / Rain'. R 5452

The Beatles 1969 2nd UK pressing of the 'Paperback Writer / Rain' 7" single. Originally released on the 10th June 1966, this 1969 issue is a rare label variation which failed to chart on it’s re-release. It is offered here in STUNNING MINT- condition. Take a look at the close up images of the centre hole, UNMARKED! Could well be UNPLAYED!

This 2nd pressing OMITS the 'Sold In The UK....' text and has the 'Gramophone Co Ltd' rim print. It did not even make the UK top 40 on it's re-release in 1969. As such it sold in very, very small amounts.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7XCE 18380—2 6 GPA KT

Side 2. 7XCE 18381-2 10 GMR KT

The vinyl is in MINT- condition.

Both labels are in MINT- condition. A—side appears unmarked, UNPLAYED? B-side, one tiny spindle trail (1 play)?

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT+ condition. White sleeve.
