Description
Apple Records reissue of The Beatles "A Hard Day's Night" released in 1975 with the "All Rights Reserved" language. This rare version of The Beatles Apple reissue was pressed from September to December 1975.
Side A: A Hard Day's Night
Side B: I Should Have Known Better
This record was pressed at Capitol Record's Los Angeles plant.
VINYL: This vinyl has minimal wear and is in excellent condition. Both sides play well without any scratches.
LABEL: Both Sides of the label are in excellent condition. No marks and no tears.
Comes with an Apple Records sleeve.
MORE ABOUT APPLE RECORDS REISSUES OF THE BEATLES
In early 1971, ABKCO’s Allen Klein decided that all pre-Apple Beatles singles would be reissued with Apple labels. This included the singles “I Want To Hold Your Hand” through “Lady Madonna,” which at the time were being reissued on the Capitol red and orange “target” label. Beginning in the Spring of 1971, Capitol began reissuing Beatles singles with Apple labels. This continued until the end of 1975 when Apple closed its doors.
There are three Apple label types:
1.1. Apple labels with a “black star” located in the lower right part of the full Apple side (Side A). These were reissued in Spring and Summer of 1971 and pressed by the Los Angeles record plant.
22. Plain Apple labels. These were reissued from May 1971 to September 1975 and pressed by the Jacksonville, Los Angeles and Winchester record plants.
3.3. Apple labels with the “all rights reserved” language printed on both Side A and Side B. These were reissued from September to December 1975 and pressed by the Jacksonville and Los Angeles record plants.
