Description
I’ve been an eBay member for over 17 years with over 1700 100% positive feedback. This is a relatively new account for music and memorabilia only.
Records are visually graded, but I do listen to intros for crackle and clarity, and play through any marks.
THE BEATLES – ABBEY ROAD – 1st PRESSING – MISALIGNED APPLE LOGO ON COVER – VG+
This is the 1st pressing version where the apple logo does not line up with the song titles on the rear sleeve. Released on 26th September 1969. Her Majesty appears on side 2 label, but not on cover. Matrices: YEX 749 – 2 and YEX 750 – 1.
Both sides look excellent. Some sleeve marks and light spider lines in bright sun but very little to see in natural light. Very light crackle during run-in of side 1, but fine when it starts. Side 2 is similar, but with recurring click for first 20 seconds. On both sides the background light crackle does recur in quieter moments. Name written on side 2 label (not by me!)
Sleeve is fine for 50 years old. Corners and open edges a bit scuffed. Original white “patent” inner.
Please look carefully at the photographs as they are part of the description.
This is one of several Beatles albums I am currently listing. Some originals and some reissues. Please keep looking.
