Description
Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Abbey Road' 1969 RARE MISALGINED APPLE vinyl LP in overall VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition.
This particular pressing features the RARE and HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE 'Misaligned Apple' sleeve. If you look on the back of the sleeve, you will notice that the Apple is out of alignment with the tracklisting. This was a misprint that happened when the album was very first released. Also, the Side 2 label completely misses out 'Her Majesty', the final song of the album - another RARE misprint!
Artist: The Beatles
Title: Abbey Road
Catalogue Number: PCS 7088
Year: 1969
Number of Tracks: 17
Matrix Numbers: -2 -1
Mother Stampers: 9GPR 4GMA
Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - has quite a few light whispy hairlines and marks. Nothing that I can feel with the back of my nail however. Still has a lovely gloss and shine. Currently rated as VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+. Label is VERY GOOD+. Side 2 - same as Side 1 with a few more light, non-feelable marks.

Inner Sleeve: The black inner sleeve isn't die-cut like the originals but it's a suitable replacement that dates to around 1970. It's currently in VERY GOOD condition. It has a 1.5" split on the left side. Rubbing on the other sides but it houses the record very well.
Sleeve: The original MISALIGNED Apple sleeve is currently in VERY GOOD condition. It's 100% intact and still has a nice gloss and shine to it. The front has some light ringwear and laminate creasing. The top right corner also has a slight crease. Still looks great though! It also has a 1" split to the opening edge. The rear of the sleeve is nice and clean with some very light ringwear and light laminate creasing towards the edges. The spine is pinched but is fully intact and is 100% readable! DO NOT MISS OUT!!!
PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES!!!
As with all the vintage records I sell, I advise a deep clean to enhance the sound quality of the record. Overall, a RARE Beatles record that everyone should own!
