THIS VERSION IS LONGER THAN ANY OTHER VERSION OF "UNIVERSE" WITH BIRD SOUNDS ADDED.

OK. Here’s the deal.  I see these occasionally on various sites and many dealers claim these are original 1969 test pressings.  The trouble is they aren’t.  My dad always aid if something seems to be too good to be true, it probably is. This is one of those cases.  The originals (with a larger hole in the label for playing) are running around $2000.  The boots should go from $25 (FrenzyMusic) up to $100 (Discogs).  Why?  Because only a few of the boots were pressed and they could not be ordered through normal channels like normal releases.  See below for more research I found on the Net.

The 7" boot was released in November 1978 by the Tobe Milo bootleggers. 

A copy of this boot version is pictured on a back issue of “910” magazine. Note the “or else” in the warning/disclaimer on the label. That’s a dead giveaway it’s a joke/boot. The normal copyright warning was altered so as to foil any retailer's attempt to pass this off as a genuine test pressing.  The original information though IS copied on the boot. 

HERE IS THE KICKER:  “According to the 910 Magazine, "Tobe Milo" estimated that 1500-2000 copies of this were pressed.”

I bought my copy (listed here) in 1978 in San Antonio from my buddy Monte Martinez. So I know the info about when the boot first appeared is true.

Stored vertically in a smoke free environment for 38 years.

STILL A VERY NICE PIECE FOR BEATLES FANS/COLLECTORS OF AN ODD RECORDING OF THIS CLASSIC TRACK ON A VERY SMALL PRESSING, BOOT OR NOT.
