Very RARE 1963/4 South African ONLY LP compilation press of The Beatles entitled The Big Beat of the Beatles, pressed on the old-school black Parlophone label (PMCJ 64) . Extremely hard to find, hardly turns up these days, let alone in acceptable condition.

The sleeve is in VG condition (see pictures). For its age and the fact that most of these are trash, fairly presentable. The spine is intact and legible with very tiny wear; extremely tiny patch of wear centrally at the bottom of the front; but otherwise, the front is quite nice! The back exhibits a bit more in terms brownish/discolored ring-wear; noticeable but not overwhelming so. Tiny wear on a tiny section of the flipbacks but very minimal. Overall, VG.

The vinyl is in VG condition The vinyl does have noticeable surface marks/scuffings under light; overall, played but not excessively so. Still a fairly shiny vinyl overall. The LP plays well with some surface noise as expected but played throughout without skips. The labels are in very good condition.

A great, rare SA only addition for 60's & especially Beatles collectors worldwide!!
