Description
On offer an original edition of 'The Beatles Box', issued by World Records in the early 80s though all the vinyl was on Parlophone. The box is in VG+ condition, no splits and the lid opens properly, but there are scuffs / marks to 3 of the 4 lid sides, with the most noticeable scuffing on the lower bottom side. Record sleeves are lovely, all NM or better. The records have seen little use and for the most part are NM, but 4 of the 8 records have an odd blue tint here and there, which I think was inherrent in the vinyl when made. Doesn't affect play to any significant degree, the tint is vague on record 5, very vague on records 6 and 8 which I'll grade EX+. The tint is most noticeable on record 1 which I'll grade EX. Record 4 has one blue spot which causes 4 pops on 'Drive My Car'. Overall a nice set, would prefer to sell in the UK due to weight but enquiries from overseas welcome.
