Description
On offer an original stereo copy of 'Beatles For Sale' on UK Parlophone. Its a stereo edition and the sleeve is VG+, the notoriously fragile front cover has nice square corners. There are some creases, 2 in the 'stereo' corner, 1 at the other end and a couple in the bottom half of the front. Some small horizontal creases at the spine end. On the back the four corners have minor colour loss (the two at the L/H side very minor), the top of the spine has had a bump The spine stands vertical, many flatten over time with storage.
The record is VG+ with side 2 a little better at EX minus, sleeve removal hairlines and no scratches or major marks. Played throughout its a great listen, lovely audio indeed - I did detect one pop at the end of 'No Reply' and one at the end of 'Kansas City'. its a joy to listen to and played on a fussy Technics deck too. matrix numbers end with 1 on both sides.
Labels have virtually no spindle traces, the original inner has no splits.
Overall a very decent example of this album.
