I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Fair / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.

ORIGINAL UK PARLOPHONE STEREO LP PCS 3062.
On offer is an extremely rare very first pressing. The record has G1/G1 stampers. It is extremely difficult to find any Beatles record with G1 on both sides. You may never get the chance to buy this LP again as it's such an early pressing.
The Cover / VG- condition. The cover is solid but has corner wear, a few creases and shows its age.
The Record / G (Good) condition. When I gave the record a play grade this afternoon I noticed the beginning of both sides has a slight warp that causes a slight glitch to the stylus. The record does not jump/skip and still sounds okay on these tracks. You cannot see the warp when just holding the disc. I think this is a slight heat warp on close inspection but this is extremely hard to spot. I've graded as G condition because of this and the disc having noticeable scuffs and light marks. The disc does play more VG (Very Good) and is certainly not trashed but of course this is also far from a perfect example. This is an extremely rare G1 pressing so this will be wanted in any condition.
Matrix Numbers: YEX 142-1, YEX 143-1
Labels / VG condition. Labels have no tears or writing but do have a fair amount of spindle marks. The side 1 label has KT tax code.
The Inner / VG condition. EMETEX inner sleeve in very good condition.
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
