The Beatles Collection
Blue Box Set
This auction is for a 1978 Blue Box. This box, famous for it's sound quality, is a must-have among Beatles collectors. Of course, if you read this, you probably are familiar with it! It is a great chance to get ALL of the Beatles studio releases on vinyl in one shot!!!
Records are in NM condition. Box itself is in very nice condition as well, except one seam on the top is rough, not ripped but seam is rough. There is also some schmutz on the inside of the box and light wear on the thin blue cover sleeve of the Rarities album. Three albums have a light line of wear/slight imperfection along the very top edge of the album sleeve--Meet the Beatles, Please Please Me and A Hard Day's Night. A Hard Day's Night, Help! and Yellow Submarine all have several very light brown circular age spots on the back side of their covers. This set is 38 years old and even the incomparable Beatles are subject to the effects of time. The set is in overall excellent condition for its age and I'm sure you will be pleased with it.
