Description
This is an original first UK pressing of The Beatles' first single on Parlophone red label.
This first pressing single released on October 5th, 1962 is the Ringo on drums (non tambourine) recording.
Furthermore this is the rarer label variant sans the "Made in Great Britain" text.
Catalogue number: 45-R-4949
7XCE 17144 IN / 7XCE 17145 IN
Stamper: ZT I
The condition of the vinyl, spindle hole and labels is impeccable.
No groove wear or damage, no label wear or damage, no spindle hole damage, no warping and no writing.
Nobody can know if this has ever been played, but it is in pristine condition. I am grading this EX+ to mint condition.
Included is an original 1962 Parlophone dust jacket (the diamond pattern sleeve), although not the first run horizontal colours pattern sleeve, this is nevertheless an original 1962 sleeve and again, it too is in very good condition.
This is simply the best example of this ORIGINAL debut UK single by The Beatles I have ever seen.
