Condition: You are bidding on a 1964 South African pressing of The Beatles For Sale mono gate-fold LP vinyl record album (see images for track listing) with minimal crackling mainly on side one/track 5 but otherwise in very good to fine condition in a very good to fine artwork sleeve (see images and our grading scale below). Our records are sourced from auction lots, garage sales and deceased estate sales. We are not record dealers, collectors or experts but do give an accurate opinion on condition of the record, based on our grading scale below. We will combine multiple purchases into one package (if feasible) to save you on postage cost.

The Way We Grade Records:

Very Fine

Normally brand new (normally sealed) and never played or no signs of play.

Fine

Used, but no visible scratches, scuffs or marks and plays well.

Very Good (VG)

May have minimal crackling, minimal light scratches or scuffs however will not affect playing of record.

Good (G)

May have visible light scratches, scuffing wear and minor warps which will not result in record skipping but may result in minor surface noise, crackling and groove wear.

Poor

Record will not play through without skipping, major scratches, scuffing or badly warped.

The Way We Grade the Artwork Sleeve:

Very Fine

Absolutely perfect in every way – brand new and possibly sealed (if specified).

Fine

Used but with no visible marking, creases, edge rubbing or writing.

Very Good (VG)

Used and may have minor creases, ring wear, edge rubbing, previous owner's name in pen, and general wear and tear may be visible.

Good (G)

Used with visible writing, use of correction fluid, noticeable wear and creasing, possible moisture damage, possible minor tears (usually repaired).

Poor

Major creases, tears, heavily marred.

Parcel Post with Signature: We highly recommend you use this option as it also offers priority handling, loss and/or damage cover up to $50, tracking where available, and a signature on delivery.

Extra cover is available for loss or damage in transit for more valuable and delicate items. If you choose not to opt for parcel post and/or extra cover, we will not be responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.

Domestic Extra Cover: Extra cover against loss or damage in transit is available on registered articles only and is calculated at $1.50 per $100 value or part thereof, in excess of $100 and up to a maximum of $5000. This option is highly recommended for items valued over $100.
