"BEATLES FOR SALE" PARLOPHONE PMC 1240 FIRST MONO PRESSING
The record plays with a lovely rock sound of mid 60's Beatles recordings.
This a first pressing with G & L gatefold sleeve with visible flaps inside the gatefold sleeve and outline MONO on sleeve. "SOLD IN THE U.K." text on the labels.The record plays as EX+ with NO BACKGROUND AT ALL!
This is a first UK pressing on the Black / Yellow Parlophone label with "The Parlophone Co. Ltd" rim text and "Sold in The U.K." Outline MONO on top right of the sleeve.
"KT" tax code embossed on side 1 centre.
Mothers/stampers 2 over 5 AAR & 2 over 6 ARM.
It is pressed on original 1964 heavyweight vinyl.
This is an original 1964 first pressing with XEX 503-3N & XEX 504-3N matrix marks.
COVER :- This is the original front and back laminated gatefold sleeve. It has internal flipback and internal opening for the disc Solid fully legible spine with a couple of corner bumps. Not surprising for a 59 year old record.VINYL :- The record plays beautifully with crystal clear sound. No skips No repeats no groovewear No crackle No pops No tics just clear mono audio
VISUALLY :- Just a few faint cosmetic cosmetic sleeve removal marks, Absolutely nothing serious.

Comes with original EMI Emitex inner sleeve.

Will come with a NAGAOKA anti static inner sleeve

GRADING NOTES - POSTAL RATES.- Records:- strict Record Collector gradings.
- NEAR MINT ~ visual inspection has revealed that the record plays noiselessly. If there are any surface marks these will be noted in the listing.
- EXCELLENT ~ The record shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening of the sound quality. There may be some light crackle but NO major problems like LOUD clicks. Occasional soft tics are acceptable. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
- VERY GOOD ~ The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. despite noticeable surface and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items without any major defects is acceptable
