Extremely Rare!
This extremely rare audiophile copy of Beatles For Sale is one of the few pressings that were made in 1987 by Mobile Fidelity.
Finding a mint copy of this is nearly impossible!
As most of you reading this already know, all of the Beatles titles released by Mobile Fidelity were - and are - coveted by collectors.
The Mobile Fidelity Beatles issues (and all other Mobile titles, for that matter) were carefully monitered, limited edition runs.
Using 180-gram, high definition virgin vinyl, half-speed mastering and extreme care in packaging, this series of albums -
based on the Parlophone catalog in the U.K. - are the ultimate way to experience the Fab Four in stereo.
Why so rare?...
In the mid 80's, rumors of the impending release of the Beatles catalog on compact disc affected sales of the later Mobile Fidelity releases.
Due to the smaller numbers, the later releases are harder to find.
Beatles For Sale is one of these releases!
Condition (let's get picky)...
This LP has been opened but never played.
This has the original inner cardboard sleeve and rice paper sleeve.
Not only is this in the original perforated bag, but the original sticker is intact.
Many of the existing copies do not have the sticker which adds value to this record.
The gatefold outer jacket is in beautiful condition.
Once again, this is in excellent shape.
