Description

Hi. I'm slimming down my collection of c.600 LPs - the vast majority have been owned by me from new, with the remainder carefully sourced from dealers or private sellers over the years. All items have been well looked after, including the addition of a polyliner to any card inners to reduce the risk of hairlines appearing over time. Although the standard VG/EX/M gradings are a helpful guide I don't think they really tell the full story so please see 'condition notes' below for a more detailed description of vinyl and cover.

  • I believe this is the first UK mono pressing of Help! but please see pictures before bidding: hopefully these capture all the relevant label and sleeve details but please get in touch if you need any further info
  • Label / catalogue number - Parlophone PMC 1255
  • Matrices - XEX 549-2 / XEX 550-2
Condition notes.... 
  • Vinyl play tested and sounds excellent throughout
  • Side 1 suffers from 'misting' (see pic) but this does not affect play and there are Youtube videos of proven solutions to this issue (I'm waiting to try these out on a less valuable disc!)
  • Both labels are in great condition
  • There's a tear to the cover below Ringo's foot but quite neatly repaired
  • Minor damage to the 'a' in the spine lettering but otherwise very good
  • The laminated parts of the sleeve are a bit discoloured from age but the unlaminated parts are still quite bright
  • The original inner has creasing, signs of handling. It's also discoloured from age and has a 2" split on one edge      
Postage notes.... 
  • I'll dispatch in a proper record mailer with card stiffeners
  • A nearly new plastic sleeve will also be included for additional protection
  • Unless asked not to do so I always remove records from outer sleeve (and from any printed inners) to prevent seam splits in transit    
  • UK - I'll combine postage if buying more than one LP - please wait for invoice
  • Rest of the world - Please note that I only sell overseas via ebay's Global Shipping Programme, which sets postages rates and does not appear to include the facility to combine postage. Sorry but I have no control over this 
  • And I'm not currently shipping to Ukraine or to the Russian Federation
