1st UK MONO PRESSING 1965
LABEL: PARLOPHONE PMC 1255
CENTER LABELS: NEAR MINT (see pictures) Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in.U.K. subject…” text. Capitol print. Tracing-paper-lined inner sleeve. With KT tax code on label side 1 (see picture)
The * credit indicator for “I Need You” is placed to the right of the song title with a space after I Need You. In addition, the laqueur numbers (XEX.549 & XEX.550) align with date on both sides. The space between Sold in the UK, (XEX.549/550) and the date on each label are comparatively evenly spaced Side 1 titles of “Another Girl” on track 5 and 6 are not aligned directly above each other. Side 2 track 7 the credit “Williams” begins on the bottom line. The second line begins with BIEM and “Yesterday” does not begin on its own line. The layout in general is neater with the space being used a little more efficiently.
