This 1st UK STEREO pressing dates from initial release in August 1965 and is on the yellow & black Parlophone label. The catalogue number is : PCS 3071
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The embossed 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 1 label.
The first press outlined STEREO is on the front cover
Housed in front only laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the outlined front stereo indicator.
Complete with its 'Use Emitex..' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve. Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1
Stamper codes: 2/AA & 3/AD
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT
A bright and vibrant set with spindle marks around the side 2 centre hole but less on 1.
Visual: VERY GOOD+ Both playing surfaces are clean & retain their deep-gloss shine.
There are some non sounding hairlines that DO NOT affect the playback at all.
Play: EXCELLENT+ This means no pops no tics no clicks no hiss no repeats no jumps.Crystal clear sound.
Sleeve
VG+
Typical of a 45 year old sleeve.Some feathering of the opening and some mild cornerwear. Slight ringwear. The print on the spine is undamaged. A name in small print on the reverse.

NEAR MINT audio inspection has revealed no scratches or scuffs on the playing surface. The record may have been played but is undamaged. The jacket will be clean and unmarked with only the slightest wear.
EXCELLENT audio inspection has revealed no sounding scratches on the playing surface, but there may be a few light crackles. The jacket might have slight wear and/or creasing or fading.
VERY GOOD audio inspection has revealed some light scratches and/or heavier scuffs - if these sound I will mention this in the listing.
