RELEASED IN THE US (but not the UK) IN 1970 ON THE BACK OF 'ABBEY ROAD', THE RECORD WAS A HUGE SUCCESS (selling over 3 million) AND TO MEET DEMAND EMI UK PRESSED COPIES (CPCS 106) FOR SHIPMENT ABROAD - BUT EVEN WITH THE US SALES EMI DID NOT RELEASE THE RECORD IN THE UK UNTIL 1979 (PCS 7184)

AND COMES COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL EMI BOXED 'IMPORTANT NOTICE' INNER SLEEVE WITH ALL TEXT PRINTED IN BLACK

LABELS: Clean, bright and fresh labels with one light spindle trace on each side - once played - MINT-
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces retain their original 'factory-fresh', deep glossy sheen and are totally unmarked - MINT
VINYL Audio: Outstanding audio throughout - crystal clear, deep, warm, rich and detailed sound - beautifully recorded and engineered and on playback at a very loud volume (which is how I always listen to my records prior to listing) the audio delivery is practically flawless (I detected just some (non-continuous) light background static 'ticks' during "Don't Let Me Down" - very minor and non-intrusive) but otherwise, this is an exceptionally clean pressing with practically silent run-ins and track divisions and critically graded a very, very strong NEAR MINT for audio
SLEEVE: The sleeve is very thin and flat with crisp, sharp edges and spine - all text is clear and bold (this text is also reproduced on the top edge of the sleeve). The laminated surfaces have a deep, glass-like glossy sheen with just a touch of record impression on the back and a light crease to the bottom spine corner (very light and minor). Overall, a very fine example - EXCELLENT+
