THE BEATLES - Hey Jude - Export LP with Dark green Apple label & A Contract pressing! CANT FIND ANY MENTION OF THIS MEGA RARE PRESSING!
Extremely Rare Rare 1st Pressing on Apple, UK Export pressing which has the "dark" Apple design on the label. This one has the 'Paper Back' misprint, and unusually is a contract pressing (not sure if it's CBS/Phillips/Pye etc) as it is a much heavier than the usual pressing. The edge is sharp (rather than the regular rounded EMI Pressing), and DOESN'T have the regular Mother & Stamper codes on the run out. It does have a number 2 at 9 O'clock on Side 1. In Laminated sleeve. Inner sleeve is generic plain die cut white - not sure if it's original or not.
Condition (Visually Graded):- VINYL: Excellent Minus Condition with a beautiful shine, displaying some light signs of use. Light surface marking.
- LABELS: Excellent (though some light spindle lines evident)
- SLEEVE: Excellent, with some light marking/laminate damage/ringwear, though way above average - See pics for more. A Lovely example of this extremely rare disc!
