THE BEATLES LET IT BE BOX SET 1970 PXS 1 RED APPLE -2U/-2U COMPLETE 1ST UK PRESS
Note: All records are professionally cleaned prior to grading on an Okki Nokki RCM using L’Art Du Son cleaning fluid. This does not restore a record to brand new, but rather removes the majority of dust and dirt to leave a record (and it’s audio) as clean as possible.

Sleeve
The fully laminated Red Apple Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve appears to be in EX condition with original owners name and address stamped very neatly inside of the sleeve and minimal shelf and usage wear from over the years.
Box & Outer Sleeve
Although many of these box sets suffered a terrible fate, this one has survived in nice shape. As you can see from the pictures, there is some wear to the ends of the box and outer sleeve due to simply being removed on and off the shelf. The inner box has general usage wear from over the years. Overall it appears in my eyes to be in VG+ condition and some may grade an EX (I shall let you decide from the numerous photographs).
Inner Sleeve
The original plain white inner sleeve appears to be in EX condition with ‘Patent No 1,125,555’. It has some light creasing and minimal usage wear from over the years.
Vinyl
Visually the record appears to be in EX condition with some light stylus wear and only a handful of very light sleeve marks. I have listened to the album in full twice (at one quarter and at half volume) and to me it sounds excellent from start to finish. There is very little in the way of surface noise, ticks or pops.

Book
Now the book itself is a reason for anyone to own this set (I nearly kept it). The ‘Get Back’ book comprises of 164 pages including numerous photographs by Ethan A. Russell of the sessions. The book itself does have some slight peel on the outer wrap, but all the pages are fixed solid and there is no loss of glue. In fact the book looks like it has only ever had a quick browse and then put to one side. A easy EX in my eyes, some may even grade it an EX+.
**Some people may say this is not complete as no poster. This is incorrect. The poster was included by some retailers as a bonus and was never packaged with the album itself**
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
The use of + or - allows for items that fall between the above grades.
Play Testing
Unfortunately as this is not my full time job, I am only able to visually grade records.
Audio quality may vary based on your Hi-Fi system.
