The Beatles "LET IT BE" LP in its Original Box Set, including the rare "Get Back" book

This is a Complete Original Deluxe BOX SET of the Beatles Let it Be LP with the GET BACK Book. I purchased this in 1970 and all original packaging remains.

The book has been kept in the original folder/sleeve that contained the Album and the book, and is in excellent condition. No marks to the pages and only a single "semi-crease" on the cover. The first few pages of this 160 page glossy book are starting to come loose from the spine, but are all in excellent condition. Full of historical colour and b&w  photos from the making of the Let it Be album, as well as dialogue with the Beatles.

The Record is in excellent condition with no scratches. For almost 40 years, the LP has ALWAYS been kept in a protective plastic sleeve, so the cover shows little if any signs of wear. The front cover of the record still has its glossy finish with no blemishes. The back cover has the "Red Apple". The pictures on the LP sleeve both front and rear are clear and unmarked. The record did receive plenty of play, but is still in excellent playing condition. There is no writing or other marks on the record label, and no visible surface scratches on the record.

This complete original deluxe Box Set would suit the most fastidious of collectors, and this is a great opportunity to purchase this rare memorable item. The books and sleeves were known to be flimsy and fall apart, and in many cases the cardboard sleeves were thrown away. To find a complete original package such as this is therefore quite rare.

• The outside Box Sleeve with the Beatles Photos. (Although well worn, is still in good condition. The only blemish on the cover is a price sticker from the 7 July 1970!)

• The cardboard foldout that houses the GET BACK Book (it has come apart at the edges, and has been stuck together on the underside using magic tape in all corners)

• The inside Black cardboard sleeve that houses the Book and the LP within the outside sleeve (very good condition)

• The GET BACK BOOK (see description)

• The Let It Be LP (see Description)

For reference, the following comes from the net:

1. "In addition to the standard releases worldwide, the Let It Be album was also issued in a deluxe box set package in at least a dozen different countries. In some countries it came out initially only in the box set, and then the LP was later issued by itself in the standard jacket. Designed in the U.K., the limited edition set included a 160-page deluxe Get Back book with lots of text and hundreds of color photos printed on high quality glossy paper. The book was placed in a custom die-cut and recessed cardboard holder which held the LP on top, all of which was encased in an outer slipsleeve."

2. In Australia:-  Let it Be with the book was released June 1, 1970. This LP was originally issued only in the box set package. The album was then issued by itself in December 1970 with the same disc pressing. The book is unique in that inside it has a sticker over the publishing credits of songs listing Australian publishers instead of U.K. publishers.
