Outer Slip Cover :

EXCELLENT

Some shelf wear to bottom edges and corners with a 5mm split to left hand corner, and a 10mm split to right hand corner.

 Inner Trays :

EXCELLENT / EXCELLENT

Complete with only light corner and edge wear. Inner tray intact, with light wear.

Book :

NEAR MINT

Gorgeous. Glossy black, mint spine, sharp edges and corners. No loose pages. Obviously hardly been opened.

LABLES, SIDE 1/2 :

NEAR MINT / EXCELLENT +

No writing, no marks, no damage at all. Very light spindle marks.

 VINYL, VISUAL, SIDE 1/2 :

EXCELLENT / EXCELLENT

The vinyl is beautifully clean. A couple of very light marks which do not adversely affect play apart from an occasional click. There is what appears to be a tiny fleck in the actual vinyl from the original manufacturing process, which again does not affect play. The overall grading is superb, with wonderful deep and clear sound. No groove wear or distortion. Rarely played.

VINYL, AUDIO, SIDE 1/2 :

Gorgeous depth and clarity of sound.

Sleeve, front/back :

 A lovely flat and glossy cover that has clearly been protected by the box cover for the last 36 years.

GRADING

"MINT": A "MINT" record will be in perfect condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. "MINT" lables will show no spindle or hole wear. A "MINT" cover, and any extra items, will be in perfect condition. A "Mint -" item will be as close to mint as can be expected.

"NEAR MINT": A "NEAR MINT" record will have a few light scuffs from being removed from sleeve, but no scratches, jumps, crackle or pops except unavoidable "vinyl" noise (records are not CD's !). "NEAR MINT" lables will show some spindle and/or light hole wear. A "NEAR MINT" cover will have very light wear, but no damage.

"EXCELLENT": An "EXCELLENT" record will have some superficial marks, and some wear. Audio will be slightly affected with some background noise. No jumps or skips. "EXCELLENT" lables will have more than 10 spindle marks, and/or wear around centre hole. An "EXCELLENT" cover will have some wear and/or creasing or discolouration, possibly a small amount of staining and/or some neat writing e.g. owners name.

"VERY GOOD": A "VERY GOOD" record will have been played many times, and will show some obvious deterioration in sound quality, with surface marks and the occasional light scratch. It will play through without skips or jumps. "VERY GOOD" lables will have many spindle marks and/or hole wear and/or writing. "VERY GOOD" covers will be worn with marks and/or staining, writing or other damage.

"GOOD": A "GOOD" record will show multiple marks and/or obvious damage to lables, but will still play through. A "GOOD" cover will be in one piece, but may have tears and other obvious damage, writing, staining etc.

"POOR": A "POOR" record can only be regarded as a gap-filler in a collection.
