LET IT BE UK BOX SET
RED APPLE ON REAR OF VINYL SLEEVE
This is a real treat for any music lover this is the very rare LET IT BE BOX SET!,because of the intricate design of the box and tray not many have withstood the test of time.Below i will list and desribe each component that makes up this very special item.
OUTER SLEEVE (BOX) VERY GOOD.This is the original garrod and lofthouse made in britain box with patents pending and is designed by John Kosh.It still retains all of it's original shine although there is scuffing to the egdes and it is a little scruffy but the it is an acceptable example.
INNER TRAY VERY GOOD.a little tatty but it is there at least,this all important component is in good condition and being the most delicate part of the box it is a rareity to see it fully intact.
BOOK TRAY EXCELLENT.I bought this seperatly and although it is perfect it is not the original but saying this it does it's job and completes the set nicely.
BLACK INNER VINYL SLEEVE This is in EXCELLENTcondition and has no creasing whatsoever and holds the red apple on the rear.
THE VINYL The vinyl is in very good condition on both sides as are the labels which hold the "mfd in the UK" text. the matrix numbers are YEX 773-2U , YEX 774-2U,it also has the dead wax stamps of O G on side 1 and M D on side 2.
THE BOOKThe book is generally in good order with all pages intact,there is some wear to the spine and a crease on the front,but apart from this all the pages are present and correct and in great condition.
Please bear in mind when bidding this is by no means a perfect example and no doubt this will tell in the sale price,having said that this is still a rare box set and therefore even if a little tatty it would be a genuine addition to any collection.
