(22 x LARGE, DETAILED PICTURES APPEAR BELOW)

You are considering bidding on a complete original Apple (UK) edition of Let it Be boxset, in Near-Mint to Mint condition, featuring a vinyl album which I seriously doubt has ever been played.

I have included numerous large-format pictures which cover every element of the legendary boxset. I have also identified any and all flaws (two, to be exact) so please take the time to view all the pictures and to read the comments.

I regret that my photographic 'skills' fail to do the items the full justice they deserve. However, I have endeavoured to describe each element comprising the set as truthfully as is possible.

Seasoned collectors of Beatles vinyl will know that although the Let it Be boxset is not 'mega rare', this auction nonetheless represents a rare opportunity to secure a genuinely superior edition of this desirable Beatles vinyl collectable.

Item Description:

General remarks applicable to each and every element of the set: No writing; no stickers;

  • Slipcover. NM condition with a rich glossy finish and free of shelf wear or any other form of friction artefact. No corner tears, rips or splits. Nor are there an creases or bends.  Leading edges are sharp.
  • Album Sleeve. The album sleeve is as close to mint as one could hope for. Both sides of the sleeve feature a deep, rich glossy finish; no blemishes whatsoever; the spine and leading edges is/are perfect (no feathering, dents, chips etc); no creasing; no ringwear.
  • Record. The record is also as close to mint condition as one could hope. There is not a single scratch or mark to be found on either side of the vinyl. Please do not confuse surface dust - as seen in the pictures - with scratches or groove damage because there is no such damage or blemish on either face of the record. I doubt that this record has ever seen a turntable, let alone had a stylus needle compromising its virgin grooves.
  • Record Labels. NM-M condition. No blemishes whatsoever which are not the result of the original manufacturing and printing processes. No spider trails to mar the centre spindle area. Even though I have only included a picture of the Side 1 label, I can confirm that the side 2 label is in just a pristine state of order.
  • Get Back Book. The notoriously fragile Get Back softcover book is in NM-M condition with the only 'blemish' being a few spindly trails of the original book binding glue (which can be removed easily by 'rolling' off with a fingertip). Book is tightly bound. The spine is clean and flat and free of any 'read crease'. All pages are intact and are flat, clean and white.
  • Internal Packaging. The cardboard inners are graded NM as unfortunately one of the inners has a crease and a small, less than 1cm, tear (see pictures); apart from these blemishes, the inners are perfect. Leading edges are sharp and without any sign of feathering. These are the original inners and not reproductions. I believe that excellent quality reproductions can be purchased through Ebay so if the described blemishes cannot be tolerated, there is a solution.
