This is the Beatles classic FIRST EDITION of their "FINAL" album. 

It is in truly excellent condition. I have owned it since it was first released and can say that the book, box and all packaging is absolutely superb. My name has been stamped INSIDE the album cover - invisible from the outside. otherwise it is all original.

The record has been played many times, but is still in very good condition.  

The postage cost for this item is not as in the table below, but is shown on the listing. This will be the cost for sending the complete package by First Class Special Next Day Delivery to the UK.

I strongly advise anyone buying this item to request insurance, as it will be very difficult to obtain another in this condition, after 38 YEARS. I am not trying to make profit by insurance etc. but cannot give a price until I know the sale value. I do hope that you understand this!!

In addition to the complete package, I am including an ORIGINAL review of the album, from The New Musical Express dated May 9 1970. This is NOT a photocopy or scan, but the actual paper!! It can be seen, from the photograph, that the reviewer - Alan Smith - was not impressed. He described it as "a sad and tatty end to a musical fusion which wiped clean and drew again the face of pop music." At the time, the price was £2/19/11 - which means £2.99 in today's UK currency. This was £1 more than a standard LP - hence the book, box, etc.

A few weeks after its release, EMI/Apple withdrew the package and reissued it as a standard LP.

The music? Well, I won't insult you by describing this. I think you will all be familiar with it - but if not, please ask!!

I am placing a reserve price on this, partly as a precaution in case there are no big Beatles fans onm Ebay this week, and partly because selling this will be a real wrench for me. It is one of the highlights of my collection - along with another 1970 album that will be on sale this month!!
