ULTRA RARE  PRESSING - BLACK LABEL [1st ISSUE]

Although the first pressing of the first Beatles record on Red Parlophone is rare this Black label pressing is far more difficult to find and with the exception of one or two of the export singles and the demos is by far the rarest of all the UK Beatles singles.This press should not be confused with  the slightly later and still rare second pressing on the Black label.

Matrix No. [Love Me Do] 7XCE 17144-1N which denotes Ringo Starr on Drums and no Tambourine in the recording

The record is in excellent condition with just a couple of very light surface marks which in no way effect the play.The vinyl has a nice bright shine to it and shows no sign of excess play on a cheap deck although there are a number of light play marks around the spindle hole.Apart from this both labels are very clean and unmarked,the silver lettering being bright and unrubbed.Record plays just about perfectly with the slightest bit of very low level background at the very beginning.Graded as EX+.Supplied in a near mint period and so far as I know correct Parlophone sleeve.

An exceptionally rare item and very difficult to find in any condition least of all the condition that this particular example is in.If you require any further information please do not hesitate to ask.No reserve and low starting price.
