Description

THE BEATLES

Let It Be

12” LP, Apple Red Label AR 34001 Stereo.

-       Matrices JS-15,000-12 and JS-17,501-12#3

I bought this LP in the US in 1970 and it has been in my collection ever since.

This is a 1st pressing USA release with a Red Apple disc label.

Prior to listing the record was cleaned, inspected visually and  played to check sound quality using a Technics SL-1210MK2 turntable, a Shure M44-7 cartridge and a TEAC 300 reference system.

The vinyl is in excellent condition.  Visually there are no scratch marks on either side.  The whole disk plays well and I cannot hear any surface noise or crackles on any of the tracks.   Along with the matrix marks the run off area on both sides also has the marking Phil + Ronnie.

Both labels are in excellent condition and there are no spider marks visible round the centre hole on either side.  The paper inner cover is in excellent condition.

The cover is a single gatefold in thick cardboard and is in excellent condition.  See photographs.
