In 2020, the world celebrated the FIFTY year anniversary of the release of a rock masterpiece by The Beatles titled 'Let It Be'. It was the band's twelfth and final studio album. It also became one of the greatest rock records of the last five decades! Considered to be one of their best albums ever made, and the music still sounds fresh, new, and exciting to this very day!
In order to commemorate that 50 year anniversary, Apple Records re-released the album on a special, limited edition picture disc LP! The music was remastered and remixed by Giles Martin, son of long time Beatles producer George Martin. He cleaned up the sound a bit, and gave it a modern day polish. I've heard the CD from the deluxe version, and it sounds fantastic! I'm also throwing in a rare 1980 copy of the 7"picture disc single for the title track. This comes with its original backing card. A sweet Beatles double shot!!
And the best part? This picture disc album is STILL SEALED, and NEVER BEEN OPENED or PLAYED!! Purchased new, and still in its original shrink wrap. The 7" single pic disc looks great, and has a non album B side track on the flip side!
