Description
I have collected records since I was very young, however Iincreasingly I have realised that I have far too many, and soI have been slowly trying to rationalise my extensive collection over the years, I have sold many major rarities over the years, from major BEATLES and 60s rarities, through PUNK and PROG ROCK, CLASSICAL and BLUES. Basically I've had alot of very rare records and in dribs and drabs have sold them off. I've never had negative feedback, and had many repeat customers.
I will only post completely insured and tracked.

Everyone who collects Beatles knows that for the Beatles very first releases (Love Me Do and Please Please Me singles,and Please Please Me LP) the very very first copies of them were released with the old 1950s style labels,in the case ofthe PLease Please Me LP it was the much coveted GOLD PARLOPHONE labels of one variation or the other, and for the first two singles it was the RED PARLOPHONE labels. These too had variations, and one of the very rarest and most sought after of the Love Me Do variations is a mistake that was incredibly quickly corrected,whereby the closing bracket (parenthesis) around the writing credits to the B-side were missing soinstead of reading "(Lennon - McCartney)",they instead read "(Lennon - McCartney".
If you thought it stopped at getting hold of any old Red Parlophone, I'm sorry to be ther bearer of this extra work collecting for you! But you are in luck, as whilst they come up incredibly infrequently, as luck would have it, here's one for your delictation! This is what Bruce Spizer refers to in his essential book "Beatles For Sale On Parlophone Records" as PAR 4949.01B(ii). It is the only variation with this mistake,and they are like hen's teeth! Nice early mothers/lacquer codes too!
Record Condition: VG/VG+ Great surfaces with a really nice sheen, when angledunder strong direct light,there is adusting of very light surface marks, and one still very light,but slightlymore visible one on the A-side, all of these are purely cosmetic however,and the audio is very strong indeed. Lovely clear audio of this seminal debut track from the worlds most influential pop group ever!
Labels Condition: B-side: VG+ The all important B-side is lovely and crisp,completely free from grafitti/stains/stickers/tears and only very slight spindle wear around the central spindle hole. The A-side: VG- very similar, but sadly has had a sticker that has left some adhesive discolouration and slight removal damage over the "Parlophone" text.The rest of the label is as wonderful as the B-side. No Made In Gt. Britain text as this missing bracket variation never had.
Complete with its lovely original Parlophone "Beach-towel" style sleeve, lovely!
