[COMMENTS] - For the only time, the original labels were not the standard EP labels. Gone was the yellow ink on top, the logo was smaller, and the term "EXTENDED PLAY" was removed from under the "45 R.P.M.". Single Labels were used for this Magical Mystery Tour set. Even the matrix prefix was the one used for singles catalogue issues (7XCE) instead of the ones used for EP's . Most unusually, the set was issue in both Stereo and Mono. Both the front and back covers were laminated, and inner pockets held two 7" EP discs. A 24-page book, plus a sheet of lyrics, was stapled into the middle. The lyric sheet was issued on light blue paper, the later issue changed to yellow. At the inner pocket, the old Apple mark, which looks like a drawing, and world "Apple Presents", was printed.
laminate covers and spine clean & straight (tiny corner bumping), booklet intact staples secure, flipback inside pockets straight & true, pages 1/2 and the 1st page of the lyric sheet have small tears (see pic 5& 6); plain inner bags clean & neat, tiny spindle on both labels, both centers intact, both vinyls appear excellent orig condition with little play (side 1 has one tiny play mark and side 4 one visible very slight play mark only) both vinyls hardly played
