RECORD CONDITION:

Both these seven inch EPs grade as a strong EXCELLENT++ and they could well deserve something even better than that!!! They both have the shiny, pristine appearance of new vinyl and neither of them have any damage, absolutely nothing other than the vaguest suggestion that both records have been played a maximum of four or five times. The spindle wear, or lack of it, backs up this theory; this is not the kind of wear caused by heavy usage! Both records have no marks or defects in the vinyl, there is nothing other than the very occasional, totally non-sounding paper scuff. The audio clarity is absolutely superb, transporting the listener to the heart of The Beatles 1967 psychedelic magic! There is an absolute minimum of surface noise to report, the run-in grooves are close to silent, and even better is the fact that over all four sides I only heard one or two faint pops, if that! This material just needs to be heard on these stunning first pressings so DON?T MISS OUT!!!!

COVER CONDITION:

This outer laminated gatefold package (complete with 24 page colour booklet & blue lyric sheet that confirm this is definitely the very first issue) has been cared for and incredibly well preserved. It is without a doubt one of the best I have ever seen and has to grade as a really strong EXCELLENT. The whole sleeve is fully intact and displays no serious marks, blemishes or damage. The inner, with flip back edges is all still stuck down and together. All the pages are clean, bright and without any creases or marks. The outer sleeve too has bright colours and only one or two of the tiniest laminate creases only visible on really close inspection. The edges are all smooth and un-scuffed and there is just a tiny amount of insignificant rubbing effect on the corners. There is no ring-wear and the staples are still holding the whole package together. You will rarely see a finer example of this original Beatles double EP release and lavish psychedelic package. It is quite simply superb!
