THE BEATLES Magical Mystery Tour MONO 1st U.S. pressing on Capitol MAL 2835 released in 1967 in gatefold sleeve with included booklet.
1st U.S. edition on Capitol rainbow labels. Pressed at the Scranton Pennsylvania pressing plant as indicated by the "IAM" etched in the dead wax. 
If you are not familiar with the MONO edition of this album, you're missing out on a fantastic pressing. The songs are fuller and rock harder in Mono, the stereo sounds a lot thinner and just doesn't have "the vibe" as this one. I was able to do a side-by-side comparison with a 2014 remaster, and this one smoked it! The remaster sounds great, but a nice copy of an original Mono can't be beat!!!
VINYL in VG+ condition, some light scuffs and hairlines, plays excellent and clear, very little background crackle, nice full sound.
COVER in VG, has some ring wear, 4" split on top seam at opening, chipping near the spine.  1" split on bottom seam near opening. The outside gatefold has chipping on the top, the bottom is super solid, chipping on either end of the outside section about 2" on both sides. Spine is solid, has rubbing. Corner wear/bumps. Booklet has all 24 pages and is still attached!!!! In great shape, no tears or stains.
