Description
A rare single sided 10" Uk Apple acetate by The Beatles. This is an interesting demo
disc which contains 4 songs. These songs were released on different Lps. 3 songs ’Don’t Let Me Down ’ , ’ All I Want Is You’ , ’ I’ve Got A Feeling’ were released on the ’Let It Be’ Lp in 1970, and the ’Bathroom Window’ was released on the Abbey Road’ Lp in 1969. The titles of two songs changed later (All I Want Is You – later Dig A Pony and Bathroom Window – She Came In Through The Bathroom Window). All the songs are different from the released version.
Condition of disc :
The playing surface have lots of marks all over but nothing major. There are strong
background noises throughout and the needle jumps a little at the ’Bathroom Window’ song. Both the look and the sound I would grade as Very Good. The sound quality on the whole is still enjoyable. Unfortunately somebody drew the Apple logo around with ballpoint.
Proof of originality:
I don't have Certificate of Originality but I'm sure that the acetate is original and I can prove it.
I have some more acetate from different bands (Beatles, R. Stones, Applejacks... etc). I took
some Beatles acetete to a well known auction house (Christies's) where after and expert
carefully checked them they went on sale and all of them were sold.Also I have some Beatles
acetates and those originality were confirmed by the sound engineer who made them. This
Beatles acetate is from the same collection. I can prove all the above information and the buyer
can be sure that the acetate is original.
