DESCRIPTION:
Hi, This is a collection of 'The Beatles' and related Solo project 7" Singles. The Outstanding item in the collection is an
original 1963, Red Label Release of "Please Please Me" by The Beatles. Issued by EMI on the Parlophone Label with
"Ask Me Why" on the B-Side. The Catalogue Number is 45-R 4983 with the '1N' Matrix Numbers.
The Mother Stampers in the run-out grooves are PT1 at 9 o'clock on both sides. If you look closely there is also a third
Digit-Letter 'M' etched above the 'P' on the A-Side only. Please see the example below of how they are etched into the
run-out grooves....I have also shown this in the various Pictures.

This is one of the very early pressings that 'DOES NOT INCLUDE' the text 'MADE IN GT. BRITAIN' which is located under
the Parlophone Trade Mark Logo on the right hand side of the label.
The Vinyl I would grade as Good+. It has no major scratches and plays through nicely with very little interference / crackle.
There are some hairline markings as you would expect but you have to catch it in the light to see them.
The Labels I would also grade as Fair-. The Red Background shows signs of wear & tear with some scuff markings on the
A-Side Label but the silver lettering is still quite prominent. There is a name written on both sides unfortunately which is a
shame because this copy is such a rare version!
The Record is housed in the Original Parlophone 'Diamond' Sleeve which has been kept in a Clear PVC Protective cover. It
will be despatched in this as well.
I have uploaded loads of Pictures so you can have a good look at exactly what you are bidding for. A Great Collector's item!
This Record does not come up for sale very often, particularly with such a unique pressing error. You could be one of only a
handful of Beatles Collectors to have such a rare item with these markings.
The other Singles are...
The Beatles - Get Back / Don't Let Me Down - R5777,
The Beatles - Let It Be - You Know My Name - R5833,
John Lennon & Plastic Ono Band - Power To The People / Open Your Box - R5892,
George Harrison - My Sweet Lord / What Is Life - R5884,
George Harrison - Bangl-Desh / Deep Blue - R5912,
Ringo Starr - Back Off Boogaloo / Blindman - R5944,
Paul McCartney & Wings - Jet / Let Me Roll It - R5996(warped).
These are generally in Fair-Poor condition with Writing / scuffs on the Labels or Sleeves. All these Records came to me
together in one collection with the "Please Please Me' Red Label and so I am selling them together as a Joblot.
