VINYL: VG+
The vinyl still retains a nice shine on both sides showing some light hairlines and one mark between track 1 and 2 on the A-side but it barely causes any audio anomalies, a few subtle background tics, nothing nasty. No jumps or skips, no overpowering hiss or crackle, great audio throughout both sides. Some sporadic tics are audible here and there, some subtle background noise between tracks and quieter passages but its nothing you wouldn't expect from a record from the early 60s. These early pressings really are far superior to modern pressings. Deep grooves, superb manufacturing, mastering and pressing and it really does show in the playback quality.
SLEEVE: G+
Original and correct sleeve with correct positing of the 'Angus McBean' credit on the front cover, bottom right corner. No seam splits but there has been a repair to the back cover, along the flip-back panels along the bottom edge. A thin piece of card has been glued inside the sleeve to hold the panel in place. It's done a great job and the sleeve is solid. No writing or stickers. Edge/corner wear as shown in the images and some celo-tape residue on back cover.
LABELS: VG+
Nice labels, gold print is clear and readable both sides. No rips or writing. Dick James credits both sides.
