Hello and a warm welcome to my auction of one of my own collectables, from my" The Beatles" Collection.
I am putting up a very collectable copy of
" "PLEASE PLEASE ME"
this is the Gold and Black mono labelled copy
by THE BEATLES...
I don't know if this is a first or second pressing as according to the record collector,the first pressing has Dick James publishing credits for,Please please me,I saw here standing there,Misery,Do you want to know a secret and Theres a place.....
Second pressing has Northern songs publishers for the above songs..
This pressing has Please please me with Dick James and the others with Northern songs,is it one that got away? strange...could be one of a kind....

SIDE ONE...XEX 421-1N..with 2 at 9 oclock and GH at 3 oclock
SIDE TWO..XEX 422 1N with 1 at 9 oclock and M at 3 oclock
GraMapHone..early press.....
The labels have The Parlophone Co LTD, but without sold in the U.K..
Vinyl in vg+ condition, has a great shine to it.
Side one.....slight spindle wear,few marks,no scuffs,plays nicely on my Sony system,but does crackle a little bettween tracks,does not jump on my system.
Side two..slight spindle wear,a few marks,no scuffs,plays nicely on my system,does have crackle between tracks.
The vinyl has not been trashed like some,but it has been played many many times,it is not mint....
Labels are pretty good for the albums age..No Tax code visible.
Lays flat,no warping....
Inner sleeve...emitex.....excellent condition......
Outer sleeve graded as good- with it being handled quite a lot back in the 60's it did suffer from wear,i taped the top and bottom edge with clear tape,this is the type that can be peeled off carefully without taking any of the surface with it.
Flip backs nice,no repair here,
Spine very good,writting all visible,little bit of laminate peeling
Correct Sleeve with Angus McBean right at the bottom right(early sleeve)
E.J DAY on the reverse as you can just make out.
All in all a very respectable copy that will find its way into someones collection.
I will have to send by Special Delivery within the U.K.
I ship Worldwide....will have to go by Airsure/Insured.
I post in Record mailers with plenty of protection.
