Description
You are bidding The Beatles Please Please Me MONO LP pressed on the Japan Odeon label (Red Wax). EAS-70130. The matrix number stamped in the dead wax is YEX - 94 - M 1S. Recording from 1963.
No OBI.
This mono Japanese pressing is like the original U.K. mono pressing of this album.
When I played this LP to check it out, I was highly impressed by the sound quality of this pressing.
THE SOUND QUALITY OF THIS RECORD IS SUPERB!!!
The record is in beautiful near mint condition. Side 1 is almost perfect. There is some minor surface noise in some quiet parts. It is barely audible. The sound quality is mostly pristine. I see one tiny spot of dirt and a few flecks of dust. Side 2 has one hairline at the end of "P.S. I love you" and through "Baby It's You". It does not affect the music. There is just some surface noise inbetween a few songs. The sound quality of side 2 is also superb. There are some spindle marks on the label of both sides.
The cover is in VG++ to near mint condition. There are some minor creases, some light abrasions from storage among other records, and the lightest of wear around the edge. Light age staining on back cover. Very light ring wear mainly on back. All of the lettering can still be read on the side of cover.
The anti-static inner sleeve is in VG - condition. It is stained with age and the sides are partially split. It is mostly intact.

LP comes in a protective plastic sleeve.
