THE BEATLES PLEASE PLEASE ME 1964 LP GERMAN.
WHITE RED ODEON LABEL STEREO ZTOX 5550.
Here we have a SUPER RARE issue of The Beatles Please Please Me lp, which was issued for US & British army soldiers serving their duty in Germany & West Berlin. This lp was also an export for Switzerland. BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO RARE & HARD TO FIND IS IT WAS ONLY ISSUED ONCE. It was primarily sold in army stores.
VINYL - PLAY & CONDITION - The vinyl is on the ODEON label, & has a lovely glossy finish to this thick quality vinyl. The vinyl plays EX all the way through, with only some very minor background static, more noticible in the quieter parts. The Beatles unique audio sound comes through very well on the playing of this vinyl. The vinyl has some minor surface rubs & a few light non-feelable scratches/scuffs - even with this, the vinyl play of this record is still EX. The RARE Odeon labels look great with some light spider/spindle wear.
COVER - The laminated front sleeve is nice & flat with NO creasing or laminate lift, looks truly superb. The spine is all fully intact with the wording clearly visible. There are some light corner bumps & a 3inch split along top edge. The back of the sleeve is in lovely clean condition, considering it's age, but does have some white scuff marks, (please see photo's).

Overall I think for the age of this lp it is looking truly superb. An extremely RARE lp well worth collecting.
